Nestled on 4.5 acres in the mountains of Andrews, North Carolina, Walker Inn is more than a place to stay — it's a living piece of history. Built around 1840, our estate is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with roots that reach deep into both Cherokee heritage and Civil War-era Appalachia. Every room carries a story, from the families who called this land home to the events that shaped this corner of western North Carolina.

Today, Walker Inn welcomes guests into four beautifully appointed rooms and a private cabin, each thoughtfully restored to blend historic character with modern comfort. We're proud that every space has earned a 5-star rating on Airbnb — a reflection of the care we put into every stay, from crisp linens to warm hospitality.

Beyond overnight stays, Walker Inn is a gathering place. With room for up to 13 overnight guests we can accomidate weekend getaways for families and friends. Our beautiful grounds are a natural fit for weddings, family reunions, and small private events — and we work directly with you to plan it, with no booking platform or middleman in between. From an intimate mountain wedding to a multi-generational family trip, we'll help you make the most of our grounds, porches, and historic rooms.

Whether you're here to explore the Great Smoky Mountains, dig into local history, or simply slow down on the porch with a cup of coffee, Walker Inn offers a rare chance to stay somewhere with real roots — a home that has welcomed travelers, families, and neighbors for nearly two centuries.

We can't wait to share it with you.
